Smart Buyer Reviews is an independent product review publication focused on health devices, wellness products, beauty technology, fitness equipment, and consumer gadgets.

We started this site because we were tired of product reviews that read like advertisements. Too many review sites rank products based on who pays the highest commission — not which product actually works best. We wanted to do it differently.

What We Do

We research, test, and evaluate consumer products using a standardized methodology. Every product we review goes through the same process: background research into the technology and science behind the product, extended real-world testing by actual users, comparison against category alternatives on specific measurable criteria, and a final verdict based on value, performance, and whether the product delivers on its core promise.

Our Editorial Independence

We do participate in affiliate programs, which means we may earn a commission when you purchase a product through our links. This is how we fund our operations and keep the site free to read.

However, affiliate relationships never influence our review scores or rankings. Products that don't meet our standards don't get recommended — regardless of potential earnings. We've declined to review products when we couldn't verify the manufacturer's claims, and we've published negative assessments when testing revealed a product failed to deliver.

Our Focus Areas

We concentrate on product categories where consumers face genuine confusion — where marketing claims outpace reality and where independent testing provides real value. This includes smart health devices, LED and red light therapy products, hearing solutions, sleep optimization tools, fitness equipment, and safety devices.
